COP - DERREN BROWN WALLET EXPERIMENT

After watching the Derren Brown mentalist experiments T-V show quite some time ago, I remembered this particular experiment where he left a wallet full of cash in a very busy street in london with a circle round it. No body picked it up because there was the thought that they were being watched and the fact there could be repercussions. I think it will be fun to see how long it takes the people of leeds to pick up the valuable objects I think it worked so well in London is that it was outside quite a fancy shop and the majority of people walking passed looked quite smart. In Leeds I think it might get picked up allot sooner but it will be exciting to see how it pans out. I plan to try this out round college and also in other busy areas in leeds

Possible Locations

Merrion Center
St Johns Center
Trinity
Brigate
Barrel Square
The Headrow
Outside Browns
Train Station

It would be great to use actual CCTV footage from college or shops but this is probably unlikely but I will enquire as this would be perfect. If not I will just try film on the sly which could be quite fun. I will try with different valuable consumer products such as ring boxes, jewelry cases etc. It will be interesting to see if anyone picks it up. I think the experiment will work best in a very public place.
