WEB DESIGNERS/DEVELOPER LOGO'S

In order to get an idea of how other web designers/developers are branded I have found a collection of companies, Allot of them are not that recognizable to be honest, they dont really say anything about web by looking at them. I have picked out ones which work and other that don't.

Bayshore Solutions is rapidly becoming known as the best web design firm in 

Florida after being named 10 Best Design's third best overall design company of 

2012This is simple and smart, you wouldn't really know it was anything to do with the 

web but as a logo it works, the Icon is like a water yin yang which I think works well.

This is Southern Web Group's second 10 Best Design award, but they have received accolades in the state of Georgia since as early as 2008. There logo isn't that great but its quite memorable. The simple icon logo works well, its easy to remember and the blue stands out, also the WEB aspect is blue which makes people have that instant connection with the web.

This is too much like all the other logos that keep popping up with leaves. Its been done time and time again, I don't think it is entirely relevant and only makes you think web when you see the name.

Pro Developer's logo is dead obvious, its pretty much in the name, the click arrow is

 a nice touch and gets across what the company is about and linked to, however

 I dont think it would work that great across all media.

I thought this logo was quite interesting, it works in all colours and could easily have sub companies within it that, which relate to different colours. Really nice variations. The bright colours also catch your eye. They have used really bold imagery.

This is a nice way of combining the 2 elements of design and web.

Simple but effective, not too much colour.

I particularly like this logo, it has just been made from characters used in coding.

They write all there code down in pencil first

This is a nice concept linking the 'Idea lightbulb concept' with the mouse click.

I need to try come up with a logo that is interesting to look at, and makes you want a 2nd glance. I think the most successful ones were the logo's that come across as a web developing company/designers. I need to get the balance right between something that looks good but also conveys the company.
