The Meaning of Style - Dick Hebdige
After reading pretty much all of the meaning of style I highlighted as much relevant material as possible to give me a starting point for my Zine. This have me information on the punk culture and the signifiers within it. It talked about the culture in semiotic terms which was a big help. I found out about thew beliefs and views of the culture and where it all began. It also talked about incorporation too which was new to me. All the information was pretty useful but I found it quite hard to understand allot of the terminology.
